The motion picture and television professional editing mainstay can now send audio and video to any NDI-aware device over your local network. This capability greatly simplifies the review and approval process and enhances collaboration, yet minimizes costs by leveraging your existing Ethernet network.

Dubbed “OpenIO NDI,” when the feature is activated, the operation is similar to a client monitor. Any time the editor plays or scrubs footage on the Media Composer timeline, others on the same network will be able to see the stream using an NDI player. By default, OpenIO NDI will broadcast only to the local subnet.
