· Uninstall your existing application using the AvidUninstallers in your Applications folder

The Windows update installer allows you to update from Media Composer/Symphony v6.0.1 or NewsCutter v10.0.1 to v6.0.3 or v10.0.3 without uninstalling.

· If you are running versions 6.0.1 or 10.0.1, run the update installers for the editing and helper applications (EDL Manager, FilmScribe, Log Exchange, MediaLog)..
8 _6 Q2 h% N1 Z8 ]+ A· If you are running version 6.0.1.1 or 10.0.1.1, uninstall the v6.0.1.1 or v10.0.1.1 patch first; S/ c0 | T- O" o4 L
o From the Windows Control Panel, select Programs and Features

" R( A( i& n4 H' w' [7 h. ?: Co Select the v6.0.1.1 or v10.0.1.1 patch and choose “Uninstall”# @* t6 \* Y$ A/ ]
o Restart your computer when prompted1 p/ O& g( \5 w" X! d, P
o Install the v6.0.3 or v10.0.3 update for the editing application and Helper Applications- i% R3 L& I t6 G+ D7 D
· If you are running Media Composer/Symphony 6.0, NewsCutter 10.0 or earlier versions of those applications do not use the 6.0.3/10.0.3 update installer. $ B6 x! S0 E- B2 j
o Uninstall the editing application and helper applications from the Programs and Features Control Panel% d- _7 _+ l. B) Z7 L( `
o Download and install v6.0.3 or v10.0.3 using the full installers. These are available on the Download Center product list under their respective application names." S: R4 n5 e* m/ F) {8 \+ |. |
